Fast-casual chain Crisp & Green will open its first location in Tampa this summer | Openings & Closings | Tampa
Tampa’s next Sweetgreen should have some competition this summer.
Tampa Bay is just a small area included in Crisp & Green’s massive expansion across the country, which includes opening 30 locations over the next few years.
The Minnesota-based company announced its expansion earlier this week, adding that it will open five locations in southwest and central Florida this spring and summer.
On the Crisp & Green website, there are actually three different locations in Tampa “coming soon” alongside other storefronts planned in Miami, Sarasota and Orlando.
Crisp & Green is known for its healthy approach to fast casual dining; popular items on its menu include salads, build-your-own cereal bowls, and smoothies. Most locations have a large refrigerated display of the fresh produce that is used in its many dishes.
The franchise also regularly collaborates with fitness studios and trainers in any city, so expect Tampa’s upcoming Crisp & Green to work with local gyms and influencers.
There are a number of vegan and vegetarian options offered on the restaurant’s nutrition-focused menu.
Florida’s first Crisp & Green in Venice is set to open this week, and its next location in Naples will celebrate its grand opening shortly after.
“Floridians are looking for high-quality foods with great flavor that are healthy and they can grab on the go,” Crisp & Green Founder and CEO Steele Smiley wrote. “We are grateful to be able to meet customer demand with fresh menu items and to become the quick and healthy option in Central and Southwest Florida this summer,” a press release read.
There are no additional details on the exact location of Tampa’s next restaurant, so follow the franchise on Facebook and Instagram, both @crispandgreen, to keep up to date with the latest information.
