New Hyatt Place hotel arrives in Virginia
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the launch of a 119-key property operated by Olympia Hotel Management in Harrisonburg, which offers impressive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Olympia Hotel Management further increased its presence in university markets with the arrival of Hyatt Place Harrisonburg.

The contemporary Hyatt Place Harrisonburg is now open, having been developed by Harman Realty, with Harman Construction serving as the general contractor. This property, operated by Olympia Hotel Management, is an ideal base for those wishing to stay close to Harrisonburg Crossing and the James Madison University campus.

The new hotel is home to 119 guest rooms and suites, with accommodations on the upper floors offering memorable views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Notable amenities include free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness center, heated indoor pool, 1,977 square feet of meeting space, ample parking, and convenient electric vehicle charging stations.
Additionally, guests are offered a complimentary breakfast at the breakfast bar, and comfort food is served for lunch and dinner at The Placery Restaurant and Bar in the lobby. Regionally sourced ingredients are then featured on Chef Dan Evans’ menus at the hotel’s main restaurant, the Ridge Room Rooftop Tavern.
