People’s leader Nigel Greenway appointed CFO of Crystalbrook
Popular Australian leader Nigel Greenaway has been named CFO at Crystalbrook Collection as the boutique chain plans to continue growing.
Greenaway was most recently in the role of National Director – Asia Pacific Hotels at Colliers International and formerly in leadership positions at Colonial First State Property, Eureka Funds Management and Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation.
Crystalbrook Collection Chairman and CEO, G.eoff York, said Greenaway’s appointment came at a time when the chain was looking to bolster its Australian portfolio.
“He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position with a strong background in hotel investment, asset management, strategic financial planning, hotel operations, risk management and numerous industry relationships. strong,” he said.
“Crystalbrook Collection is in a phase of strategic growth; we opened two new properties in 2021, Crystalbrook Kingsley in Newcastle and Crystalbrook Vincent in Brisbane.
“In 2022, we are looking to expand Nigel’s portfolio and Nigel’s experience in hotel investing and asset management makes him an excellent candidate to elevate Crystalbrook’s position in the market,” York said.
Greenaway said he was joining Crystalbrook Collection at an exciting time for the business.
“As a relatively young hotel investment and management company in the Australasian hotel market, joining the Crystalbrook Collection management team will allow me to consolidate over 30 years of hotel finance and investment management experience. in order to continue growing the business,” he said.

Greenaway replaces Neil Patmore who joined Crystalbrook Collection in 2017 ahead of the opening of the Australian properties which now total seven resorts in prime locations across Queensland and New South Wales.
