Vine Hotels announced two staff development initiatives aimed at identifying and accelerating talent.

Management in action
A new “Leadership in Action” learning program will be offered to 10 trainees per year. Those selected are the company’s “best candidates” for leadership positions.
Those who pass will complete a 12-month training program covering all aspects of hotel management. The course is specifically designed to equip them with the skills, abilities and confidence necessary for effective leadership, as well as setting the “Vine Hotel Standards”.
Stewart said: “The Leadership in Action program will formalize and communicate the progression people can make at the leadership level and ensure that when we attract the best talent to the business, they will want to stay and grow with us as leaders. company.”
Alongside this, a new “Shadow Board” of 12 employees from one of the Vine Hotels properties will be rolled out, which will meet quarterly with General Manager Garin Davies.
The Shadow Board will provide a platform for sharing ideas and valuing valuable employee contributions on issues relevant to the business.
Candidates were nominated across the company and come from all disciplines and seniority levels.
She added: “As a management team, the most important thing we can do is listen to our employees, who understand the inner workings of hotels in a way that is not possible unless you don’t perform these roles every day.”
